Jay Pacific* 7359 blog postsWhat a useless train. Arrived at KJM ahead of schedule but made to wait for 30 mins. NTES also not reliable and giving wrong info to passengers and others. If a train gets delayed by more than 40 mins in a 300km run I think IR should quit operating trains and give to the private operators. Nothing shinning about India here. IR is planning for bullet trains. Lol.

It wd have been better to walk down from KJM to SBC or even BMTC bus than to spend 2 hrs
The problem is you never know when the train will start moving. If they inform the passengers that the train wont move for a long time then passengers can make alternate arrangements.
Same case with 16528, It take 2 hours from CRLM to YPR, whereas the distance is not more than 20 km's. And then they proudly say - 16528 is always reaches on schedule at YPR
Yesterday there was a minor derailment at SBC station in the afternoon, they might have taken some time for repairs and consequently chain effect on all trains, i guess that must be the reason for delay.
I travelled yesterday by MAS-SBC DD and it halted for full 90mins at KJM, then took 1hr from KJM to SBC and reached SBC late by 2hrs.
They even announced at KJM station that the train would be halted for 90mins.
