MADURAI: The non-stop Chennai Central - Madurai - Chennai Central Duronto Biweekly Express trains will stop at Salem Junction starting January next year.

All major district headquarters, cities in TN have 24 hrs connectivity. One can easily catch a bus or auto at odd hours. TN probably is one of the best states in India in terms of intra-state bus connectivity as well as town buses.
I dont know on what basis people speak transport available and Atleast Autos?
Is this the first train which is halting and departing from SA at 3AM?
In between 12:10AM to 4AM almost 30+ daily trains are passing and nearly 15+ trains are tri weelies,bi weeklies and weeklies.
If SA can attract crowd or not is diff point,that should not be connected with Autos...

Yes bro , we do have . Once i alighted at Namakkal from MAS-PLNI exp at 2:40 AM (when it had departure at 21:00 hrs), i noticed two TNSTC bus and some 20 autos. So definitely Salem will have much more better one since its a corporation
