Of the Khana-MGS route, Grand Chord is the latest & Sahibganj Loop/main line are the old routes. So I think main line was constructed as par the old systems alongwith sbg loop & so awaits upgradation, & Grand chord holds its eligibility to be upgraded. But no doubt main line is very much faster than sahibganj loop.
This is very good news for the Kota - Guna - Bina section, after long time this section has got something or have got attention from IR let's see if this news would be real for this route
