IR is plagued with these type of non-required OTs!!
KRBP could one OT a time & if Maurya kept idled, Amrapali too hav to be kept idled before (cz Amrapali too halt there)..hence delaying Amrapali & pushing it for OT & follow Maurya (while bth Amrapali & Vaishali were late)!!
Better was to keep Maurya idle @ KPGM & gt OTen by bth Amrapali & Vaishali...as Maurya wouldnt hav mind it (as already 2.5 hrs SCH for SPJ-BJU)!!

When a train is running slight b4 time...its OT can b avoided!!
Amrapali was thru till SPJ (after Dholi) & then till BJU..while Vaishali hav to stop @ DSS!!
Vaishali couldnt hav gt any harm while Maurya would hav lead till SPJ (as Amrapali & Vaishali has to pass thru @ LPS via loop run @ KPGM)!!

amrapali have stop at Dholi,Pusa and Karpurigram and Same as maurya ...maury have also stop at dholi,pusa and kpgm
As far as i could c..Amrapali dnt halt @ KPGM!! Just 1 stop more than Vaishali & that stoppage was already been done by Amrapali @ Dholi!!
