Thoothukkudi Port , Kuzhidurai New Port in Tamilnadu and Vizhinjam Port in Kerala have to be funded from Port connectivity Schemes. So Thiruvananthapuram to Madurai doubling via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniachi and Virudhunagar & Vanchi Maniachi junction to Thoothukkudi doubling works have to be funded from Port connectivity Schemes.
