The prize catch of the day!!! Sam on his usual tour to Dankuni spotted this Kanpur WAG9H busy in shunting duties under very hot mid-day sun on 14th April 2014. This is one of the only two G9 of CNB ELS commissioned on 25th March 2014.

Ajni was so hungry for WAG9/9i/9H/9Hi that it snatched that from many sheds like GMO CNB KYN :p
Well as far as Ajni G9 series is considered, it has one of the best maintenance track record and less failures. Although sometimes I feel this shed deserves more WAP7 as well.

TKD got P7s in place of P5s. Now, TKD won't get any. It already homes P7s and G9s, both are flagship (three phase) locos. A third type of flagship locos (P5s) won't be allotted.
Some other shed should get them now!! :)
How about ASN? It used to home WAM1,2,3, which were Bo-Bo type locos. ASN is the right choice as a loco like WAP5 wouldn't be alien for it :D
