Badarpur can cater to the whole of Barak Valley,Mizoram,Manipur and North Tripura. So as of now that seems to be a viable suitable solution.Agartala should also be a new division with the rest of Tripura under it.The option of Dharmanagar is also viable but would require new infrastructural set up though the whole tiwn can revive around that!!and can be a centre of economy

Not all the five divisions of nfr are in assam. Only three are in assam- Rangiya, lumding and tinsukia. Rest two i.e alipurduar and katihar are in west bengal and bihar respectively.
