If all seats of Bhopal Shatabdi get filled end to end in General and Tatkal quota then Its total revenue will be 1551030
and Operating cost is 60.12% of maximum revenue.

When Gatimaan Base Fare is higher, Catering Charge is higher, how projection be based @ Shatabdi?? Electric & EOG Cost b stable for NZM-AGC..keeping it same for Taj, u gonna screw Taj's revenue performance!!
U shldnt estimate anything as bluff...just try to keep in mind: Its not proportional to Km, 70% isnt just Fuel cost..
& y I rubbished it out..cz u made like: Its running shorter distance & hence low cost...whch is untrue!! To estimate without any data/logic, is baseless & just a bluff!!

If its not proportional to distance then why mostly trains have almost near cost/km?

U havnt estimated any cost yet..didnt hav any answer for 16-18% diff in UP/DN Kalka/DBRG...just a dinner or lunch provision could add in 18% in cost, thn u easily could compute the overall catering impact!!
Further, Taj may come in smaller bracket (maybe 10-20000 lesser), but do this make much of impact, as still Just Electric/Fuel Cost will impact its return!! I made example of Taj, to nullify 70% input of cost for only energy!! M not estimating bt 70% & Kms direct ratio is incorrect,,yeah fuel charge proportional to Km run, makes sence (but its total cost not just fuel)!!
