Also, member telling right that mansi to katihar and kiul to tinpahar section on both side of ganga are having very fine-powdered alluvial soil and the ganga is most broad and flood prone in this small section from kanpur to malda till entering Bangladesh. All GMs and DRMs only project demands, but most of the times, RMs and RRMs don' t pay any shit attention to them but do their own likes. For eg, when Lalu was RM, he gave many trains to ECR and bgp also, neglecting to many GMs/ DRMs. Similarly when mamta came, she starved all projects of Bihar including bgp, for lack of funds by full funding only Bengal. So these things keep going, and nobody gives much shit to DRMs etc. The railway board in pressure , indirectly do as per the wish of RM and RRM.
Luckily, now, we don' t have RM like mamta who will starve our projects for Bengal, but an less political man who pays attention to all area turn by turn, works honestly and impartially.
