His neighbour zone ER is running 1000s of subsidy trains daily so Gohain should make full attempt to introduce more subsidy trains for the people of Assam. Additional lines will make the work easier.
Watever existing trains are there they should be run on daily basis even the long distance trains. He should take note on Kamakhya - lokmanya tilak AC Express which is running once in a week which should be extended to 3 days in a week to connect with Mumbai. With that More Rajdhani Express needed for faster connectivity from Delhi. North east needs Durronto Train for Chennai, Kolkata Hyderabad and Banguluru.

Rajen Gohain is not the Minister of State, Railways for just Assam and North-East, he is Minister for whole country. Maybe his priority area is Assam and North-East but he should not spell it out so explicitly and not be so biased.
