Often it is reported that Talgo trains run on curve with out decelerating. This is not true. When the talgo trains negotiate a curve, it tilts inwards a little to counter the centrifugal force. There is a maximum limit to which the trains can tilt and only to that extent only its speed can be be higher (then normal trains). It may be typically 20-30% higher i.e. A LHB train having MPS of 130 kmph if runs at 70 kmph at curve, the talgo train shall run at around 90kmph on curve and not 130kmph i.e. its booked speed.

Speed on curve depends on the degree of curve. If Jap train negotiates a curve at 270 kmph then it must be a very mild curve like 1 degree or so. Theoretically high train speeds may be possible on sharp curves (which are abundant on I Rlys track) by providing excessive banking of tracks and/or excessive tilting of trains, but practically that ride will not be safe for train passengers.
