I have one question :-
One of my friend says he has some link in railways and he can confirm your ticket if you have waiting list. Not only this i have heard this from a lot of people that they know some station master etc and he/she confirms their ticket charging something extra. Is is possible?

Sir, that was the reply of the statesman in you. Or in other words a statesman-like reply. Hats off to you !
I expressed my ideas on such information. Is it worthy to preserve as good data? It is depending upon wisdom of Admins and Moderator. If all welcome such entries, I have nothing to say.
Every train will have some seats reserved for HO/Emergency quota. Which are used by high officials or the people who have some emergency travel like medial ...etc.
If those seats not utilized then they will release them to clear wl/rac passengers at the time of chat preparation.
A discretionary quota of Railway used for berth allotment to Rail officials or public or Netas in case of emergency/need.
