I got one question: So, one of my buddies is claiming that he has connections in the railway system and can confirm your ticket if you're on the waiting list. And it's not just him, I've heard this from a bunch of people too, that they know someone like a station master or whatever, and that person can confirm their ticket for some extra cash. Is this even possible? I actually witnessed a situation like this once, but I can't remember the exact details, otherwise I would have shared. Anyway, any answers or comments from you all? Thanks.
