Just saw the running status of 12314. It passed from MRE to BMU in just 3 minutes (23:43 to 23:46). Now, the distance is around 8 km so it means the train had a speed of around 160 km/hr in this duration. Now how is this possible if maximum allowed speed is 130 km/hr? Does this mean some kind of error in the reporting times as it galloped across these stations or do the trains really happen to reach such speeds at times?

I know the times of trains coming to destinations are often really distorted if they are actually arriving late. But those in intermediate stage of journey, usually data are not reported fake. But today things are bit different. It's showing 12878 and 12314 crossing NYN at exact same time. :D
