Aug 27 2016 (09:22)   1982 में हुई गोंडा रेलवे डीजल शेड की स्थापना के बाद गोंडा रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम पहली बार डीजल लोको को लेकर सामने आया था। लेकिन 34 साल बाद अब इसकी पहचान नए तौर पर इलेक्ट्रिक लोको के रूप में भी की जाएगी।

Strongly disagree...what do the newspaper mean by saying Diesel loco fails repeatedly...Do Electric Locos dont fail? Vaishali used to run with SGUJ WDP4 which is capable to touch 160 kmph but b/w LKO BJU nowhere tracks are capable of such high speed...

In terms of failure, reality is just the reciprocal of what the News article suggests. E-locos have more failure cases reported than D-locos and diesel locomotives needs less maintenance too.
