I had really expected that Pune Special will be regularized by RM
Unfortunately, no announcements made.
Maybe I expected a lot, disregarding the fact that it's JBP and not GKP, and does fall in MP, not UP

No u dnt expected much bt its not a election yr in mp so rm also cannot announce new trains but he said he will consider the demands of jbp so lets wait n see wen he will fullfill the demands
No wcr is having a strong project for mml terminal and now its officialy being inaugrated so work will start and may b by next yr we can see the mml terminal in reality and hopefully by then jbp-soy-nir section will be opened fully n more trains will ply towards nir and due to no station building at keq mml will play the crucial role in controlling nir-btc bound trains
Issue is with Pune side, WCR is trying everything from its end to regularize the special. Somewhere I read that Pune has some capacity handling issues and hence they aren't ready to regularize on the timings WCR asked for, instead they are giving some other timings which WCR is uncomfortable with.
I wonder why can't these people change the terminal or route then. JBP Pune via PNVL is sure to seek way more passengers than via DD. If still not possible, train origin can be shifted to CSMT.
