12268SaurashtraKing~ 6201 blog postsIn my reckoning Gujarat is being neglected by IR albeit it is one of the most industrialised states in India. Many busy routes are single and not yet electrified such as Rajkot Ahmedabad(SUNR ADI is double line) and Ahmedabad Palanpur. Rajkot city has a population of over 1.8 million and yet the no. of trains are inadequate as per the city's needs. Many cities in India are less populated than Rajkot and yet boast double the no. of trains(some are genuine due to geographical advantage).

Legitimate demands. Utterly disgusted by the harsh treatment on Gujarat.
It was neglected because of political rivalry for a decade. Now because if any new measure is announced, it will be seen as home state favoritism, so again neglected.

Agreed,but then when will Guj get its share? With other parties in power,they never attempt to improve the connectivity in Guj.
