I currently hold a WL1 ticket in 1A (paper ticket, NOT e-ticket) for 19-12-2016 from Panvel to Madgaon Jn - PNR already posted for prediction. If it confirms, all well and good. If it doesn't confirm, what options are available? Since its a paper ticket, it doesn't cancel automatically, i suppose i can board the train. But then what is the next step? Can the TTE give me accommodation in available seats in 2A/3A/SL without extra payment, since i hold ticket in a higher class? Suggestions please?
