P-7 failed for Kalinga? Is that why it got late?

Yes... Today a Bhilai WAG-5P brought Utkal and the dead P7...
Actually last night I checked it was running with delay of 4hrs 39 mins in Chhattisgarh (till BSP or RIG I think) but again after a long time when I checked the running status I found it to be delayed by 5hrs 50mins to 6hrs till it reached JSG.... Today when I saw its offlink and dead P7 I understood that loco failure may be the reason for it's additional 1hr delay though I can't really predict where the loco might have failed...

Got 6-7 hours delayed, that's why you could capture it.
I checked NTES. Yes, it's very difficult to say where exactly the loco had failed. The delay time has gradually increased. No sharp change as such.

Yes...also some days back it was delayed by 4 hrs and arrived BLS at 5 A.m. ... But then it was hauled by WAG-5(I guess)/WAM-4 6P(acc. to other RFs)... I was unable to take pics as it was still dark..

Bhilai WAG-5P was given as its loco failed.... So I guess it might have failed near BSP/RIG where the delay further increased to almost 6hrs from 4hrs 30mins...but a question arises that why was it delayed by more 1hr till it reached Hijili and Balasore...
Still it can't b confidently said that the loco failed in CG just because it got a BIA WAG-5..
