Bhopal is a very important station located on NDLS-MAS trunk line. This is very good for BPL as there is a large number of passing trains from Bhopal between a large number of destinations covering most of the parts of our nation. The same facility (being located on main line) becomes a disadvantage, in matter of getting originating trains as demand of most routes is usually met by the passing trains. As a result BPL have relatively lesser number of originating trains and such demands arise.
For Indore, a city of almost equal importance, the case is exactly opposite. Very few or no passing trains call for starting more and more originating trains from INDB to facilitate connectivity.
