WR needs to expedite Rajkot Surendranagar Doubling ASAP. Rajkot Ahmedabad Highway is undergoing six lane expansion. Already one can reach Sarkhej in 2:45 hours. Railway is losing traffic to roads badly.

Agreed. Railway will lose traffic to Mumbai and Pune as well. Seamless six lane connection from Rajkot to Pune in near future.

Gujarat, MH, RJ and KA sab mai yahi problem hai: roads are quite good and IR is loosing traffic to them. double lines+talgo could have helped reverse that, but ek mai IR sust hai and dusra idea drop kar diya.

Talgo bahut accha rehta kyunki aap jaante hi hai curves pe bhi zabardast speed rehti hai uski. Lagta hai Bus Mafia waalon ne milibhagat ki hui hai.

Mai ek baar Tata Indigo mein record 2:10 hours mein pahuncha hoon Sarkhej/Paldi. Trains most of 4:30 ghante leti hai. 4:30 ghanton mein to Golden Bridge aa jaye. :P
