I will give you example: MAS-BZA: 431 km Least time Taken: 05:40 hrs MPS: 110kmph
Whereas NDLS-CNB: 448 km Least time Raken: 04:40 hrs MPS: 130kmph

10 YEARS.
This means that for more than last 10 years NDLS-HWH route has been operational for relatively higher speed and the track upgradation for important sections like BZA-MAS, is still on paper to be implemented. And now, IR is keen to further increase speed of Delhi-HWH/BCT routes.
Now, it is irrelevant that whose mistake it was or what temporary factors caused that, as 10- 15 years is a huge time gap. Also, other sections like MAS-BZA-VSKP, HWH-TATA-NGP-CSTM line etc also carry significant traffic and it is partial and unfair that while NDLS-HWH/CSTM routes are proceeding to Stage 3(160kmph) from Stage 2(130kmph), other routes are still struck in Stage 1 and awaiting Stage 2 for so long.
