IR need to develop a communication channel with Rly users. Every main stations on IR network should have a kiosk or a mini-museum where the Station Managers can

----(1h) expectation of station manager/ IR from the travelling public
----(1i) display pictures and other info about past, present & future of IRly, Zonal/Divisional Rly, History of Rly Stn/City etc
(2) invite from Public/ Rly stn users to
----(2a) suggest in order to solve the problems faced as well as for betterment of Rly services keeping a register.
----(2b) make complaints to highlight any deficiency in services & difficulties faced by them by keeping a register.
----(2c) register volunteers as a certified Rly Stn users (at free of cost or nominal price) where in persons interested to develop Rly facilities of the station, rail fans etc who are ready to act as volunteers may be given passes to survey Rly Stn/Premises make rounds and bring before the Rly admn. the relevant problems. Meetings may be conducted by SM with active volunteers from time to time..
(3)At least 4 major stations from all the zones should have display of old steam engines or models or other Rly monument to beautify Rly Stn & glorify the past of IR
(4) Railway models currently being sold through NRM Delhi can be made more popular by arranging their display at these mini-museums and to make provision to sale them at counter of by order.
Above kiosks shall become a strong bonding between the IR and public and help improve rly services in the area.
