* Third line project on (HWH-CSTM) route, especially on the heavy freight section from KGP-TATA-ROU-BSP-R-Bhilai is progressing fast.
* It was earlier reported that the under construction third line of the route shall become part of the proposed HWH-CSTM DFC in future.
* In spite of announcement in 2017-18 budget, no progress towards the construction of HWH-CSTM DFC corridor has happened so far. No news on the matter is an indication that IR is concentrating on early completion of EDFC & WDFC, other DFCs shall be taken up later.
