* A lady fell unconscious in general bogie due to excessive heat and rush. She had to be taken out through emergency window as the coach was chock-a-block with passengers!

Poor should be subsidised, but within sustainable limits. Freezing non ac rail fares for ever is a political game and not a solution to eliminate poverty.
* It would be better to raise fare and use the money to run more trains and transport unreserved paxs in a respectable manner.
* New design of coaches should be explored to increase the carrying capacity of paxs. in non-ac as well as ac and unreserved as well as reserved class.
