No benefit actually. It is better for CAPE to be under TVC. TVC atleast does something.. if its under MDU they will become pathetic. TVC is way better than MDU. The CAPE passenger association is thinking if it is transfered to MDU then there will be bullet trains from MDU to CAPE!!! Let them go no problem. But we cannot loose our TVC Parasala section.
exactly my points... CAPE can easily stay with TVC than with joining in MDU
Yes sir, this Hosur to Salem section also attached to Salem division .Then only Hosur Terminal station facilities are materialized. Hosur to Tambaram expresses have to be operated with in SR.
Just by adding HSRA to SR/SA division nothing would change. Hosur already has trains running towards salem back to back in the evening and owing to steep gradients till thoppur and elephant zone the capacity of the line itself is less. I dont understand how you just seem to think that mere addition of a certain place in TN to SR, magically things would change overnight, the lack of logic behind this beats me.

line constraints and lack of infrastructure is reason for many things. but they easily blame state politics.. Everyone want train but no one speaks on constraints on infrastructures.
