Do you think overall cost of LHB is higher than ICF?
State reasons for the same.

high cost of diesel for EOG can be nullified by producing and implementing HOG p7 /wdp4b locos. There is currently some problem in syncing the power generation from locos in neutral sections and interchange points which should be worked upon
This can also be mitigated by using battery (installed in locos) based supplies whenever a trn is crossing neutral section or any interchange point. Bt as battery can't take dat much load as much a grid can take so provision for reduction in load during supply changeover frm OHE to battery should be made. N again when OHE is available, load would be fully transferred to OHE frm battery.
Both Diesel locos thru their Diesel-Generator Sets and Elocs- through Over Head Wires can be modified to give electric power to coaches for Air-Conditioning, fan, lights etc.
Why do we need Vande Bharat which is almost double the cost of an LHB rake...and still running with average in 70s for which LHBs are well capable of
I would prefer normal LHB for SF, M/E trains and train sets for premium ones ie. Rajdhani, Duronto, Shatabdis, etc.
