I think Raiilway must provide , Battery operated biometric fingerprint scanner to tte so that they mark attendance of passenger traveling ( just like evm which works without internet ) ,As of now neither travaller nor tte can be trusted be trusted blindly corruption can be done by any of them passenger can file wrong TDR or tte can mark fake that passenger has traveled . if implemented then there will be proof if passenger has done journey or not . I feel 1 lakh scanners will be adequate for IR roughly 4 scanners per train .
They refused my TDR of poorva citing passenger traveled .

QR code is only good enough for web URLs and can be shared easily. Only biometrics can be trusted.
Finger print of passenger will be genuine and can be verified with aadhar card ( UID ) if needed .
We should not use Aadhar database such simple things. The main issue is about manual charts, it is just up to TTE to verify if the passenger boarded the train or not. For a smaller fraction of complaints, we should create trouble for larger %.
Corruption is at peak in railways . Nearly 1000 cases per day . passenger not traveled but tte marked that passenger has traveled . Now how can you justify that you had not traveled .
And it's not that we are using aadhar data . its only when any discrepancy arises then verified from aadhar data . Also biometric of all passenger taken then during it can be stored at terminating/originating station ( all stations are connected with internet now railtel or by google) with respect to date and data will not be huge say hardly 100MB per train and these can be flushed after 3 months i think 10 TB storage will be sufficient for New delhi type station .
