GURUGRAM: After much delay, the work on electrification of the railway line between Delhi and Rewari, a distance of around 78km, will begin from next Tuesday....
After 3 years when Western-DFC is likely to be commissioned, DLI-RE-JP-AII-ADI is all set to become one of the faster routes of IR network. Accordingly IR should now plan the quadrupling of Delhi-Gurgaon and tripling of Gurgaon-Rewari sections to reduce congestion and to facilitate introduction of faster trains (130/160kmph) in future.

a new terminal is being developed at Bijwasan which is within 5km range of GGN, so no need of quadruple...
and Yes , there is immediate need of 3rd line between RE-GGN , even fourth line is required (2 for DLI-JP and 2 for DLI-BKN/RGS-AII/HSR)
and good thing is that Railway has already sufficient land for 3rd and 4th line between RE-GGN
