There's no denying the fact that Indian Railways is pathetic in providing security to any train whether a Rajdhani class train or not.
But people should be careful, how much sleepy are they ? How helpful would be Automatic doors and stuff, if insiders in the train are thieves ? Better to sacrifice one night's sleep or atleast keep stuff locked while sleeping. Don't depend upon Railways.

Thieves might have got into train from RTM, the TTE should check the new passengers after every halt.... Since Rajdhanis have less halts this can be carried out easily...

Shame on IR... If these incidents happen in such premium trains.... then what about the safety of passengers in normal trains?

Your suggestion is excellent but it's Indian Railways we're talking about. Better to be careful ourselves than to depend upon others who have so far done a not so great job.
Nowadays time is TOTALLY different, passengers themselves need to give priority to security over sleep as people who are supposed to do it are not doing their job that efficiently.
Either don't carry too much cash and expensive items, if you're carrying then stay awake and alert - that's the survival tip nowadays. A person who has nothing to lose sleeps peacefully.

Every man for himself, either don't carry expensive stuff and if you're carrying then stay alert and awake to guard it. - Sad but true for the condition of security that people travelling face nowadays.
