I always try to notice the work on the LC on the Chitradurga-Hosapete NH that comes after MMI station. The 4 laning of the stretch is proceeding well and this LC is also being eliminated with a RoB, which is progressing well. I couldn't click pics.

Once I had mentioned that I noticed signals on that line. Last time I went, I was able to click pics. This stretch is the gradient which was completed last year for the smooth operation of passenger trains and is located next to the Hosapete tunnel....

The operation of passenger trains on this section is highly doubtful as there seems to be no headway in either resolving the high tension wire issue or in the renovation of the old stations. The line is just another Goods train only section, like Gunda Road-Swamihalli section and Tornagallu-Ranjithpura section.

Note: Interestingly IRI Atlas shows Tornagallu-Banihatti as double line....
