Heart breaking news for people of Aishbagh (ASH) - Sitapur (STP) section including Sitapur (STP) - Mailani (MLN) section.
Gauge Conversion (GC) for Aishbagh (ASH) - Sitapur (STP) section started from May 2016 with deadline as 31-Dec-2016 which was not realistic hence was given new deadline as 31-Mar-2017 however its well known for Indian Railways that NONE of the projects would have completed on time in IR history (Except couple of exceptional projects) that's why SHAMELESS NER has given new deadline as 31-Oct-2017.

This country is not China, where Govt can decide and move, Sometimes public, sometimes courts and sometimes politicians themselves stall such projects, and mind it, govt cannot break law unlike all these.
Yes RVNL is worst company for execution of any projects, all its project are delayed by atleast one year, no doubt most members of IRI protest over giving a project to RVNL due to its superb performance
काम की प्रगति देख के कुछ ऐसा ही आभास हो रहा था, की ये परियोजना एक बार और लंबित होगी ! और अंततः वही हुआ | ज़मीनी हकीकत बयां करूँ तो कुछ ऐसा है, की पिछले कुछ दिनों से काम में अचानक तेज़ी तो दिखी है, तेज़ी भी वैसी जैसी काम को ख़त्म करने के लिए ज़रूरी होती है, पर दुःख और चिंता इस बात की है, की इस पूरे परियोजना में गति एक सामान नहीं रही कभी | इसी कारण वक़्त बढ़ता चला गया | लखनऊ छोर पे काम में काफी वृद्धि दिख रही है, जैसे अधिकारीयों का दबाव हो मानो, पर वही सीतापुर छोर पर काम ठहर गया है, जो जैसा था वैसा ही पड़ा हुआ है | फरवरी 2018 अब काम को देखते हुए, लग रहा है की सही अनुमान लगा के, बोला गया है !
सर ! एक मज़े की बात बताऊँ तो कुछ दिनों पहले ऐशबाग स्टेशन के ठीक सामने मैं एक दिन चाय पी रहा था, तो मैंने बातो बातों में चाय वाले से ऐसे ही पुछा की छोटी लाइन का काम कब तक पूरा हो पायेगा ? जब की मुझको पता था की नवम्बर तक की तारीख दी जा चुकी है, आप विह्वास नहीं करेंगे उस चाय वाले ने तो बोला " साहब अब कुछ कह नाई सकित हैं, काम तो पिछले दुई सालन से चल रहा है, पता नहीं कब पूरा हुइगा", पर उसके छोटे लड़के ने फटाक से बोला 2 शब्दों में स्पष्ट, "फरवरी 2018" बस इतना बोल के चुप हो गया ! Hahaha ! और आज वही हो भी गया देखिये
