above data shows that the planned targets for 2017-18, 2018-19 are too high and appear far from reality, especially keeping in view that the shortage of power in India has been almost bridged and not many new thermal power plants are being planned. Moreover India is going for new Solar & Wind power projects in a big way and many nuclear power deals too are in pipeline. The demand of coal is not going to increase at fast pace, in fact it may become more of less stagnant!!!!.
