When user logged in on IRCTC to print the ERS....there should be a tab "Sent to Mobile"...so that the ticket details can send to mobile directly...Instead of taking printout...user can have a option of getting it on mobile by his tab and can show to T.T.....At the time of booking users are already getting SMS, but if it's getting deleted...then there should be another way to get it through SMS....

when we book a ticket we get sms and email simultaneously
you can show them to the TTE which is acceptable to IR
