No, it doesn't. It's a Mangalore Nagercoil Intercity train which serves the general public. Departure time from MAQ was highly inconvenient in the past and also used to clash with Netravati(non monsoon) and Kerala Sampark Kranti slot(monsoon). Now it has been adjusted accordingly. You need to understand this before blindly asking people to protest.
