MailguardSG25~ 24054 blog postsHow contrary this Rajdhani Exp has been compared to Rajdhanis which connect cities like Mumbai or Calcutta to New Delhi, though as per Bangalore has also been developed as a high class Metro City. From Patna/Calcutta/Mumbai if u take a Rajdhani to reach the Capital, your journey is so brief that it starts on an evening & by the morning u're there in the Capital. You take the train, enjoy a delicious dinner, have good snap, wake up,have breakffast & there you're,New Delhi is ready to welcome u. Where as the distance is likely to be 800 kms more while you travel from Bangaloreto Delhi, but the time taken is almost a day extra, which u've to spend on the train when comparing with other Metro Connecting Rajdhanis. Is it fare....???

There is some problem with Timings actually. In this case, the speed can be increased but again ,the single line has to be adjusted. This again hampers halts of other trains in the same area. I dont compare with flight in this regard.
Also, a bit out of box, HWH MAS speed can be increased. After the complete electrification, the timings have been pushed more late in the night. And the arrival timings on both sides reduced. But,if they push it more, the date is gonna change which might draw major controversies again.
