I've been watching the arrival time in Raipur for this train (both, from Mumbai as well as from Howrah), and it appears to take couple of hours less than it would, if were to run on its scheduled time.
To put that in perspective, this train is re-scheduled to leave Howrah at 5.30 am, and reached Raipur at 15.57, or in about 10 hours and 27 minutes. Likewise, if this train is really leaving Mumbai CST at 4 am, and gets to Raipur at 21.07, it is taking only 17 hours to cover the distance?

Ya HWH mumbai is one of the greatest routes of India. If the trains start late also(as late as 9 hrs)from their originating station, they can makeup the time or at least can reach the destination in same amt of scheduled time. The same case if would have happened to ECR,NER,NCR...there trains running on time becomes 4/5 Hrs delay beacause of mismanagement of the Chief Controllers of that specific Rly Zone.
What I really find interesting is that the train is taking almost as little time covering the distance as Duronto Express but with almost 35 more stops.
