How can they manage 100 trains with only 2 platform? Including one originating and terminating train?

Great work by controllers.
GOOTY - DHONE route is single line section.
GOOTY - DHONE route is single line section.
Its four route Junction point, more than 100 trains halt at GOOTY JN, This station is famous for GOOTY Diesel loco shed, still it has only 2 platform.
That is just 100 different trains in a week. Some are non-daily, and some share slots. If you look at the exact number of trains halting trains every day, it's only a maximum of 57 trains on Fridays and Tuesdays (50 or less on other days). Given that there are no reversals or loco changes here, that's not a big load for 2 platforms.
It's still good controlling though, when freight traffic and the number of trains crossing from Dhone side to DMM side are considered.

Yes, but freights have a pretty big yard, where almost all freights stop for crew change.
But disadvantage is, since less PFs, the LC for trains to KCG cant be considered here.
I wish they had one more PF or DHNE be somehow be made to change locos for few trains, because DHNE-KCG electrification seems far off. Somehow by LSA arrangement they should try for LC at DHNE and some at GY.

Dhone seems ill-equipped to handle any locomotive changes. It has no refuge sidings for homing locomotives and SCR doesn't seem to be making any arrangements there. Once the GNT-GTL electrification is completed, GY itself might start handling loco changes for some of the trains, as the e-loco availability will improve then. And some of the SBC bound trains from Dhone may have LC's at DMM.
GY's large yard and availability of shunting lines allow it to handle shunting operations without encroaching on the main line. Up until a few years ago, GY used to regularly handle loco changes (Trains with GY based links used to switch to fresh ALCOs at GY), so it's not a completely new...
