If any destination have two different routes like Chennai to Bikaner
(1) is via JAIPUR (total KM 2567)
(2) is via AHMEDABAD (total KM 2624)

system will issue a ticket via JAIPUR only b'coz this is shortest route but passenger can avail the other route by booking a BLANK PAPER TICKET by entering KM manually in system. System will calculate fare as per KM input and issue ticket.
Railway rule in this regard is " passenger can avail route of his choice subject to that it does not exceed more than 15 % of shortest route"
so for example if the shortest route between two destination is 1000 KM, passenger can take other route which should not exceed 1150 KM.
