IMPORTANT INFORMATION
#
If any destination have two different routes like Chennai to Bikaner
(1) is via JAIPUR (total KM 2567)
(2) is via AHMEDABAD (total KM 2624)

system will issue a ticket via JAIPUR only b'coz this is shortest route but passenger can avail the other route by booking a BLANK PAPER TICKET by entering KM manually in system. System will calculate fare as per KM input and issue ticket.
Railway rule in this regard is " passenger can avail route of his choice subject to that it does not exceed more than 15 % of shortest route"
so for example if the shortest route between two destination is 1000 KM, passenger can take other route which should not exceed 1150 KM.

this is what i cleared in Re# 280391-3 that if a train directly go to a station by a longer route, system will issue ticket. i m telling about indirect routes

Please look at the Distances. Navyug takes 3009km, Mangala.. takes 2648 and rest of the train takes around 2524-48km. Now how will it assign either according to the Availability or KM wise (IF NAVYUG HAS AVAILABLE AND OTHERS ARE UNDER WL)?

Then, for my travel from NDLS to ADI, will I wont be issued tickets which have intermediate change point at BRC say first leg in 12472/ 12926/12904, then another leg of journey from BRC to ADI in 19017 or 19005 etc>???
