While there is a lot of hue and cry over delays of 12658 due to RSA with 12628, very less people seem to complain about frequent trolling and delays of the legend - KK express. Even during non-fog season, it gets trolled by NCR, WCR, CR and even worse these days, SWR trolls it post DMM. It's so sad to see a legendary SF turning into an express train with horrible delays over the last 1 year or so.
While it gets trolled by SUR division due to single line, SCR trolls it even with FEDL tracks between WADI and GTL for unknown reasons. One can see delay increasing post WADI till Adoni. It seems like only BSL Division gives the legend the best run in the entire journey.
Even SWR trolls it at Penukonda.....in WCR it gets good priority and OTs SEB many times...
But you can see the delay increasing by 30 minutes to 1 hr in JHS-BPL section on most days.. It has some slack at ET and KNW and reduces the delay a bit but the delay is too much already that it cant make up time further.
It is really disappointing to see this train losing priority like this. I used to regularly travel between KPG-SBC, and on all occasions, even if it was delayed by more than 1.5 hours at KPG, it used to recover most of the delay by the time it reached SBC. These days the delay is increasing even more!
It seems SWR itself not giving priority to this legendary train.
