What about Tuticorin then ? . If SR needs train to Bangalore , they should run via SBC as no more space is not available. Moreover if it's needs to be via DMM GTL , its not possible as it's overloaded. Same way it cannot be extended to Arsikere route as morning traffic is tremendous in SBC. The only way is Hassan, Hassan people does not want Tamilnadu trains to occupy just like what happened in Mysore . Now Mysore ppl pay SL fare instead of 2S. They are using connection trains to reach YPR and board Bidar exp.
It's not MAS to be blamed , it's TPJ who has to take responsibility. TPJ themselves once were in a motive of removing pitlines and converting them in DEMU shed ,. If you take Madurai division and Trivandrum , they have constructed many pitlines. The absence of inappropriate passenger associations and representation from Political leaders is the problem here . Once TJ passenger association demanded to Extend the Queen of SWR ( Rani Chennama) to Kaveri delta . This is the level of demands. No proper representative for ZRUCC and DRUCC.

develop tvr or VLNK pit lines. transfer maintainence of kamban tea garden mys mv(along with TN MYS)mannai (chendoor) KIk SBC MV TEN passenger VM MV pass KIK TPJ pass chemmozi to here. so cape ms and island can be maintained in kamban slot. which can free 3 trains maintainence at SWR bases. and TPJ MV express can be done with demu coaches. garudadri is SR SCR SWR so i dont think that wont be trouble much. if CAN gets pit then YPR CAN can be accomadated there but i dont think that is so much easy as of now. and sbc mas mail can be transfered to SR and can RSA with any train or if chemmozi taken by tpj or CBE developed then even cheran can take rsa with mas sbc mail. this also greatly reduces SWR pit needs.
PGT TPJ divisions madly needs improvement else they will be like parasites on other division for their basic train needs. like TPJ adjusting with MDU. PGT trying with TVC for PGT mdu connection.
