Train Ticket from Bangarapet is cheaper than train ticket from Krishnarajpuram for same train, same date, same class, same destination.
This is because of flawed logic of dynamic fare. System is adding high amount of dynamic fare for KJM Remote Location Quota since berths are filled there and WL has started. On the contrary, berths from starting station quota are vacant, hence less dynamic fare is added. Result is that ticket from earlier station costs lesser than ticket from later station for the same train, date, class, type of passenger. Logically, this is a flawed implementation of dynamic fares. Smart passengers would opt for booking cheaper ticket from previous station rather than booking costlier from boarding station. Cant this be fixed not...

I think they have rectified this !!.
Ticket from KJM to Belgaum costs around 1625/- (with WL) and the same from Bangarapet costs 1730/- (with 137 AVL berths) for 22 Dec
