Its not that easy to pull out the bus passengers between Mumbai and Bangalore. Buses cover in 17-18 hours, while trains take atleast 22 hours, while majority of the trains need more than 24 hours to cover. And passengers are however free to book in passing trains, no restrictions on bookings. But success factor would be to cover the train journey between Mumbai and Bangalore in less than 20 hours, which is still possible considering Solapur YPR Exp covers the distance in less than 12 hours and other trains cover Mumbai Solapur distance in less than 8 hours.
Surprising??? Well, surprising is the fact that there are no operational constraints for so many trains to KL from MAQ, but there seems to be congestion for the train to its own capital Bengaluru.
One more Udayan SF daily Expresses have to be operated between Dadar and Bangalore .Dadar to Bangalore SF has to be reached around 6 am at city or cantonment.
At this point of time, there are many trains to Kerala.. SWR focus should be dedicated trains for Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gadag, Bagalkot, Kalaburagi and not some towns in Kerala
Weekly and Daily trains cannot be counted on same scale.
Mumbai Banglore route need more trains especially a faster one which can do the journey in less than 20 hrs.
