one of the Extreme rare link howrah WDM-3D with up 12041 Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express. also known as Shaan-E-NFR. The regular link of this loco is WDP class EMD. Being the fastest diesel howled train in Indian railways, its MPS at HBC is 130Kmph for which EMD is preferred. But due to non availability of EMD locos, Howrah WDM-3D 11205 got the prestigious responsibility of being link in charge of this train...

Pune Secunderabad Shatabdi Express is the fastest diesel hauled Shatabdi in IRI with an average of 71kmph, but NJP Shatabdi's mps is 130, that's it but the fastest one is SC Pune Shatabdi
in terms of MPS, only diesel howled train which have 130kmph MPS is NJP shatabdi.
Fastest by virtue of MPS
