Gatimaan Express: Raftaar meri Pehchaan - Sajid Akhtar

I cancelled my WL ticket from an intermediate station well within 24 hours of its scheduled departure from my departure point. However, the WL ticket had been confirmed and the chart had already been made. had to file a TDR. This was on 2/12. I am happy to inform you that the 50% refund arrived yesterday ie 9/12.

if it was a tatkal ticket,then no refund...if a general quota ticket,then 50% of the base fare will be refunded

I think TDR can be filed 24 hrs after train's scheduled departure???
