I am travelling from yeshwantpur to kacheguda by Prashanti Nilayam Express/17604.
a) is this train right on time reaching kacheguda? I am having a connecting train to khammam from secunderabad by Krishna express(17406) departing from secunderabad at 6am. So i have one hour to reach to secunderabad.
b) How far is secunderabad station from kacheguda station?

I have gone some 8-10 times and there were delay of 30-40 minutes only on 2-3 occasions. Between Kacheguda and Secunderabad its roughly 8kms or so and it is better to take a MMTS train from KCG to SC which saves time and you will end up in landing at Secunderabad railway station which is quite comfortable. There is a MMTS at 5:15am and a passenger train at 5:27am which will be of great use if 17604 reaches ontime.
Would the MMTS train be arriving on the same platform on which Prashanti Nilayam Express/17604 arrives?
Tell me more abt the passenger train arriving at kacheguda at 5.27 am. At what time it would reach secunderabad stn. Tell me the name and number of passenger train?
Is it safe to go in MMTS train in morning at 5.15am with family?How far is the ticket counter from the platform? Can i get the MMTS train within 15 mins arrival of 17604 exp.?

Prashanthi nilayam express will come to 3 rd platform and MMTS arrives to platform #1 , you need to go to PF#1 where you have the MMTS ticket counter on the way left to the exit, There is no probs even with family, it is safe, well if your train is late , still you have train at regular intervals, but best way is to catch MMTS as rush will be less and more over you will directly land up in SECUNDRABAD station.
if your train is too late generally it is 30 min late, and if you miss this train you can catch SC-GNT at 7.40 at SC.

17604 normally lands at platform no.3 of KCG and MMTS comes on platform 1 and i feel enough crowd will be there so that you can comfortably board the MMTS. Since it is coming from Falaknuma , not much delay will happen as it is just 7kms away from Kacheguda.
57660 Falknuma-Gulbarga passenger leaves KCG at 5:27am and reaches Secunderabad at 5:50am.
