I have booked a ticket from New Delhi to Bangalore with boarding at New Delhi. But I need to board at Mathura Jn instead. What is the procedure for same?

thanks for the reply. Mine is an e-ticket. Can I visit PRS at mathura JN and do the same.
sir, Visit any Computerised Counter near you, give a copy of ticket,a letter Stating your new boarding point to the reservation supervisor, he will change the boarding point.This can be done only before 24Hrs of schedule departure of train.(any ticket E-Ticket, I -ticket, Normal Ticket)
CHANGE OF BOARDING POINT :
If a passenger desires to occupy reserved accommodation from any station enroute, he would be permitted to entrain at any intermediate station he chooses irrespective of the distance from the starting station subject to the following conditions :
A specific request must be made in writing at the station from where the ticket is purchased and reservation made atleast 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the train from the starting station.
