Good News One more Freight route of SWR Hassan-Mangaluru got Electrification Proposal sanctioned.
leaving about all other.....Saklespura-Subramanya road the stretch where the actual ghat section is having a PSR of 30 kmph as far as my travel experience is concerned and even down 20kmph in some stretches...considering it takes close to 2h30m-2h45m time to cross that ghat section and additoinal 20min for bankers attachment/detachment...even after electrification the only possible speedup can be done in YPR-Saklespura and Subramanya-Mangalore route...
What about doubling in SBHR-SKLR line sanctioned in last budget still not implimented.
Forest clearence is one big issue
and also needs change in alignment if possible to reduce the gradient to much lower level than the current one...
