Side lower berth allows you to sit at the window and enjoy the the view outside. It is the most most comfortable place to sit on and enjoy the view outside. As for sleeping at night the seats are folded to make a bed and the connecting point may cause some problem during sleep for some people. But in my opinion it does not cause much of a problem. But one should be careful about the luggage tucked underneath the slb, because they are so easily accessible to the thieves. As for travelling in 1A, surely it is more comfortable than travel in 2AC. But if you get the upper berth, you may not be able to enjoy watching the view outside.
